![]() I know it's a simple lanyard (and a very remote possibility of something bad happening), but if the brown stuff ever hit the fan and my pup needed to use the breakaway and that lanyard failed, I would feel guilty. Open the battery box and connect the second wire coming out of the switch to the positive post (red) on the battery. Splice the wires from the vehicle to the brake controller harness, matching the colors as follows: Blue vehicle wire to blue brake controller wire. I had a mishap with my Breakaway switch also (I dragged the lanyard and it frayed) and being a Fleetwood, it had a funky/non-standard pin (I stopped at all the RV and trailer dealers that I could find from Pickering Ontario to Halifax Nova Scotia to find a replacement- Plug for a RV dealer here ** Owasco RV in Whitby made me a lanyard to "get me through"** It cost me a handshake).
